Below is a list of essential forms for amateur radio SKYWARN Nets that can be downloaded for use with the Nets.  The NCS, Alternate NCS, and the Net Logging and Relay Station (NLRS) are encouraged to use these forms during SKYWARN Net Control Operations in order to conduct an organized and efficient SKYWARN Net.  The following forms are available and can be downloaded for printing on a home computer printer.

  • Reports Log Sheet for Spring and Summer Storms (MS Word) - This log sheet is for Spring and Summer Storms and includes fill-in-the-blank areas for recording the frequency used by, and the call signs of, the Net Control Station (NCS), Alternate NCS, and the Net Logging and Relay Station (NLRS) for the local 2-meter SKYWARN Nets and the HF SKYWARN Net.

    Reports Log Sheet for Fall and Winter Storms (MS Word) - This log sheet is for Fall and Winter Storms and includes fill-in-the-blank areas for recording the frequency used by, and the call signs of, the Net Control Station (NCS), Alternate NCS, and the Net Logging and Relay Station (NLRS) for the local 2-meter SKYWARN Nets and the HF SKYWARN Net.

    Weather Element Sequence in Weather Reports (MS Word) -
    This is the recommended sequence in which weather elements in a routine weather report are to be provided to the Net Control Station during the HF SKYWARN Training Net. Following the sequence indicated will help to make the HF SKYWARN Training Net run more smoothly.

    Skywarn Net Frequencies (MS Word) -
    A list of HF frequencies that we will use for the Pendleton NWS HF SKYWARN Net.  NVIS Net Operations are also discussed.
